Salmon, especially Chums prefer blued or black hooks over bright finish. We blue our own hooks, assuring a quality bluing job. We sell Stainless Steel Mustad and Eagle Claw hooks.

• The Mustad 9510 is a proven "J" hook.

• The Mustad 95170 is a tempered claw type hook. Tempered makes them stronger but also more brittle, especially in the eye. Eye and hook breakage is the manufacturers problem, not a result of our bluing.

• Eagle Claw hooks are also extra tempered, they are sharp out of the box.
